For Twitter on the Nokia XM5800 or N97 I use a variety of apps - your choice depends on your preference:

1. Fring http://www.fring.com (Great combo app for MSN, AIM, Twitter, GMail, Skype... and free! and already on your XM5800)

2. Tweets60 http://www.tweets60.com (a bit buggy, latest version 1.28 seems more stable)

3. STEW - a basic widget Download then copy to your phone using Bluetooth or PC Suite http://www.symbianfrance.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/stew.zip

4. Gravity - best for Twitter, but costs $16.55NZ http://mobileways.de/products/gravity/gravity/
